| Vinification | De-stemmed and partially crushed, with a high proportion of full berries. 10 - 15 days maceration period with a daily overpumping. Controlled fermentation at 24 - 28º C with autochthonous yeasts, contained in the grapes themselves. |
| History | Since the end of the 19th century, the Rivero family has been dedicated to the cultivation, production and aging of the best Rioja wines. It was not until the end of the 1960s, thanks to the efforts of Amador and Faustino Rivero (third generation), that the first wines were bottled under the Faustino Rivero Ulecia label. These wines reflect the classic and fundamental essence of Rioja, wines with balance, complexity and harmony. |
| Regional Information | Grape harvested in plots located at an altitude between 300 and 600 meters. The vineyards have the perfect balance to allow harvesting the grapes at its best ripening stage. The low yields per hectare allow us to obtain a concentrated and aromatic wine. |
