Essentially Catering range relaunched

Essentially Catering, the flagship catering own-label brand of the Bestway Group, is being relaunched with a total brand refresh across the entire range of core catering products.

The new range will include over 50 everyday catering products and will benefit from a contemporary new label design on the outside and improved product quality on the inside.

Available from February, the new products will be available to caterers from Bestway and Batleys depots. To coincide with the launch there will be special price promotions in addition to the Price Hold Guarantee that fixes catering prices for a three month period.

To help caterers plan quantities and profit, each product will clearly state a guide to the approximate number of servings/portions on the front of the label. For example, Essentially Catering Coffee Granules (750g) delivers 428 cups of coffee.

“We’ve listened to caterers and have redeveloped the core range inside and out to help them trade more profitable and plan their menus. Catering success is all about planning the plate cost using the best quality ingredients to suit your business.  Consumers now demand more and that’s why the majority of the products in the new Essentially Catering range are of higher quality than previously. This is not just a label change – this is a major own-brand investment by Bestway and Batleys,” says Paul Rabone, catering controller.

Paul continues, “Last year was about launching nationally into the foodservice sector, outlining our plans and developing a new 24/7 website, www.bbfoodservice.co.uk. The relaunch of the EC range is the next step and demonstrates our commitment to our catering business.”
