Best-one Links with Lloyds TSB Cardnet to help Members Maintain the Bottom Line

All members of the Best-one symbol group can now look forward to a more guaranteed future with a new business deal negotiated between the group and Lloyds TSB Cardnet.

James Hall, the Bestway group controller of the symbol group Best-one said in announcing the deal,

"We are always aware of the need to keep our members interests top of mind, especially during the current tricky financial times, which is what makes Best-one special as a group. We are very pleased to have negotiated with Lloyds TSB Cardnet to support our members with a special exclusive package, which can make a real impact to their business. Where retailers have found it difficult, or impossible, to get financial help and understanding from the banking world, Lloyds TSB Cardnet, has agreed to provide preferential rates on merchant services where credit cards, debit cards and commercial cards are used by the retailer's customers in their shops.

"This can allow quick access to cash to grow the business with a cash advance, which could be made available to the retailer as a lump sum. The funding deal is based on the potential future monthly receipts from card processing that the retailer expects to generate and will of course be subject to satisfactory conditions being met by the individual retailer. We are very pleased to be able to offer this service to our members and delighted to be working with Merchant Cash Express who work in partnership with Lloyds TSB Cardnet to make a difference to the independent retailers, who are the backbone of providing the consumer with a local choice of shopping across the country."

There are no fixed term periods or hidden charges and all arrangements are subject to successfully completing an application form and being accepted by Merchant Cash Express.

James Hall added, "In the current financial climate, to be able to guarantee this extra security in running the business, in addition to what we provide in the package for all our members, should they need it, represents what we are in business for - to help the independents build their businesses successfully.'
