Bestway Group Wins Top 'Business of the Year' Award
The Bestway Group, Britain's largest independent wholesale business and one of the UK's top privately owned companies has been awarded the much coveted "Asian Business of the Year"
The company was presented with the award at the Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards, at a ceremony in London on Friday March 26th. Bestway directors, Zameer Choudrey, group chief executive, Younus Sheikh, managing director of the cash and carry business and Dawood Pervez, director, received the award from David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary.
In the citation, read at the presentation, the award recognises the great success the company has achieved since its inception to where it is today in breaking the £2 billion turnover barrier.
