Bestway and Batleys Launch New 'Handi Rice' For 'Food on the Go' Market
Bestway and Batleys, the second largest wholesalers in the UK, have introduced a new instant ready meal for the UK market.
Imported from Thailand, the Mama Brand, Handi Rice is an instant tasty rice dish with great appeal to people who want a quick meal for lunch or at any time.
The Handi Rice product comes in four separate rice flavours: Vegetarian; Curried Shrimp; Red Curry; Green Curry; All made with pure Aromatic Jasmine Thailand Rice
Handi Rice is very easy to prepare and is ready in 7 minutes, by just adding boiling water to the sachet. It comes in an 80g pack and sells to the independent trade at 90p and will retail at £1.49, giving the retailer very good margins. It is available via Bestway and Batleys Cash and Carry 52 depots across England, Scotland and Wales. It is delivered in sachets of 80g x 12 packs x 6 trays/cartons and is instantly ready to be displayed on retailer’s shelves.
