Cellar Estates take more medals at 2009 wine challenge
Overall, Bestway picked up awards for 52.9% of the wines entered as compared to 41.9% last year with three silver medals, two more than last year, one for the Cellar Estates Sancerre, one for Lelac Champagne and one for Rossini Bianco.
The number of Bronze medals given also increased to six.
Will Bartholomew, the wine consultant to Bestway said, "Overall, this is a great result for the Cellar Estates brand and endorses our position in the market place for producing an own label that has great quality and great value for money for both our independent retail customers and their customers."
The wines for the IWC are judged by some of the wine trade's most influential journalists, winemakers and top wine buyers.
