Preparation and Usage
Preparation & Usage:
Delicious baked into cookies, muffins and brownies, simply stir into the mix before baking. Chips retain shape when baked.
Chocolate chips can be melted and added to your favourite recipes or used to cover desserts, cakes and traybakes.
To melt (on the hob), place in a dry heatproof bowl over a pan of hot (not boiling) water and stir until smooth. Take care not to get water into the melting chocolate.
To melt in the microwave (based on 850W) remove Chocolate Chips from packaging and place in a microwave safe bowl and heat on medium (50%) power for 1 minute, then stir well. If required, heat in bursts of 10 seconds (50%) and stir until smooth.
Take care when melting chocolate not to overheat.
Warning: Chocolate may become very hot! Take care with chocolate after heating.
Storage
Best before end: See front of pack.
Store in a cool, dry and dark place away from strong odours.
