| Vinification | Faustino VII Tinto is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, fermented in stainless steel to preserve fresh fruit character. A short maceration and malolactic fermentation enhance smoothness and balance. Aged for around 4 to 6 months in American oak, it offers subtle vanilla notes alongside vibrant red fruit flavours. Designed for early drinking, it's a soft, approachable Rioja with a modern, fruit-forward style. |
| History | Founded in 1861 in Rioja Alavesa, Bodegas Faustino has been family-owned for four generations. The brand was officially launched in 1957 by Julio Faustino Martínez, expanding its reach internationally. Today, Faustino owns over 650 hectares of vineyards and exports to more than 140 countries. | Regional Information | Faustino VII is produced in Rioja, Spain's most renowned wine region, located in the north of the country along the Ebro River. The area benefits from a unique climate influenced by both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, ideal for growing Tempranillo. Rioja is divided into three sub-regions—Alta, Alavesa, and Oriental—with Faustino's vineyards primarily in Rioja Alavesa, known for producing elegant, well-balanced wines with fresh acidity and great aging potential. |
