Preparation and Usage
Drizzle with herb pesto and top with freshly toasted croutons.
Alternatively add roasted sweet peppers.
McDougalls Soup Mix Yield Guide - This pack makes 25 x 170ml (6 floz) portions
To make 170ml (6floz) portions: 5 portions; Use: Soup mix 77g, 2 3/4oz, Cold water 0.85 litres, 1 1/2 pints
To make 170ml (6floz) portions: 10 portions; Use: Soup mix 154g, 5 1/2oz, Cold water 1.70 litres, 3 pints
To make 170ml (6floz) portions: 25 portions; Use: Soup mix Whole Pack, Cold water 4.25 litres, 7 1/2 pints
1 Using the table above, take quantities of soup mix and water to produce the required number of portions.
2 Add sufficient cold water to the soup mix to make a smooth paste, add remaining cold water and bring to the boil.
3 Cover the pan and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4 To prepare other portion quantities, use 15g soup mix and 170 ml cold water per portion.
Left over made-up product should be cooled rapidly, store covered in a refrigerator and used within 24 hours by reheating thoroughly.
This pack makes approximately 25 portions
Store in a cool dry place.
Keep pack tightly sealed.
For best results use contents within 2 months of opening.
