Preparation and Usage
Suggested Methods of Cooking
Method 1 - place 250g(8oz) into 1.21 ltr (2.25 pints) of boiling water stir and return the water to a rolling simmer. Cook uncovered for 7-10 minutes until tender, drain and sieve with boiling water then serve.
Method 2 - place 250g(8oz) into 450ml (0.75 pint) of water, bring to boil, stir once and return to a gentle simmer. Cover with tight fitting lid. Cook without removing the lid for 10-12 minutes. Remove pan from the heat and allow to stand for 5-6 minutes before serving.
After cooking you may like to add a small amount of butter or oil if preferred.
Store in a cool, dry place.
