- Wine of Valle del Maipo, Chile
Blackcurrant, red cherry and plum flavours from Cabernet Sauvignon combine with Syrah-endowed fresh black fruits, and traces of white pepper and spice. The 14-month ageing in French barrels adds another layer of aromatic complexity.
Reserva Privada is a Cabernet Sauvignon made with carefully chosen grapes that are harvested in selected vineyards located in the renowned Maipo Valley. This exclusive creation achieves a perfect balance of fruit, full body and delicacy.
Colour: Deep, bright, intense ruby-red.
Aroma: Elegant black currant notes accompanied by red cherry and plum mingled with vibrant fresh
black fruit. The 14 months of aging lend complexity to the nose and highlight the smoky, vanilla and cedar aromas.
Palate: This wine is structured and firm on the palate yet offers round and elegant tannins. The fruit is well balanced by the oak notes to sustain its vibrant acidity, which is joined by a long, persistent finish.
Our experienced winemaker's commitment and dedication have been drawn upon in the creation of this superior quality wine. Every single grape harvested in Chile's best wine valleys manages to express perfectly in every bottle the full character of our land.

|History||The story behind one of Chile's most famous wines began more than 120 years ago. Don Melchor, founder of Concha y Toro, stored batches of his best wines in an underground cellar. When he noticed that bottles had been stolen, he spread a rumour amongst the locals that a devil lived in his cellar. Hence the name of Casillero del Diablo, the devil's cellar. Since 2008, Diablo wines have received more than 80 awards from internationally recognised competitions, including 8 Gold medals and 18 Silver medals.|
