|Vinification Details||The season yielded Chardonnay with exceptional richness and intensity of flavour. The fermentation process was a combination of French oak to provide toastiness and creamy texture blended with some stainless steel to help preserve the rich, fresh fruit characteristics of the juice.|
|Regional Information||One of the more flavorful of white wines, Chardonnay is a grape varietal that must be nurtured throughout the growing season in the vineyards. For this reason, Turning Leaf winemakers once again turned to some of California’s leading Chardonnay growing regions. Cooler temperatures at night moderate the pace of the ripening process, creating a milder average temperature throughout the season. When allowed to mature slowly, Chardonnay grapes develop intense varietal character on the vine prior to harvest.|
