We are inspired by our country, our people and our winelands. That's why we give our wines special names. We hand-pick our delicious grapes in the quiet, cool of early morning. Lovingly tendered fermentation takes place in Flagstone open top fermentors, using ancient winecrafting methods. This ensures delicious, age-worthy wine with a silky structure and a brooding, mysterious nature, capable of surprising you with its power and energy - a real Dark Horse.
Great wine requires deep, intense dedication to the land, empathy for the vine and a love of grapes. We farm in a balanced and environmentally friendly way and in the cellar the grapes are treated with fanatical attention to detail throughout the winecrafting process. The resultant aromas and flavours reflect this passion for authenticity and integrity.
Concentrated dark fruits, white pepper, dark chocolate and a hint of mint introduce an intriguing wine on the nose. On the palate, silky smooth tannins complement the hedonistic, rich, ripe fruit flavours. Enjoy!
