Preparation and Usage
To Produce Instant Plantain Fufu:
Bring a cup of water to boil in a saucepan.
Divide water into two parts
Add 4 oz. (113g) of Fufu Flour to the heated water in saucepan and stir with a wooden spoon.
Gradually add the remaining heated water and stir.
Place over medium heat and knead thoroughly for about four minutes or until a smooth but thick consistency is achieved.
Allow Fufu to cool and serve.
So easy to prepare:
1/2 cup Fufu Flour
3/4 cup water
Combine 4oz. (113g) of Fufu Flour with 3/4 cup of water and stir into a thick paste in a saucepan.
Place over heat and knead with a wooden spoon to form a thick, uniform consistency.
Mold into a ball by hand and place in bowl.
Serve with your favorite soup or stew.
Battering (when frying meats, poultry & fish)
Thickening soup, stew and gravy (to obtain natural vegetable flavor)
Recipe for Beef (Light) Soup:
Ingredients: Meat, fresh tomatoes, onion, salt and ground red pepper.
Cut meat into small pieces, wash them and put them in a clean pot.
Add chopped onions and tomatoes and a little bit of pepper and salt.
Add water to the level of the content in the pot and cook for about fifteen minutes, stirring regularly.
Add more water and allow to cook till meat is tender
How to Serve:
Serve with cooked Tropiway® Plantain Fufu Flour. You may simply put the soup over the fufu and enjoy by consuming small pieces at a time.
