Pitú is distilled exclusively in Brazil from the juice of hand-picked fresh sugar cane. Following careful storage and strict quality control it is exported all over the world as the proud "Premium do Brasil". That is why Pitú's light and fruity taste is ideal for the drink that represents Brazilian lifestyle.
Pitú is distilled from the first pure crush of the sugar cane. This sugar cane spirit is called cachaça. The pure essence of the sugar plant gives Pitú its crisp and light flavour.
What Does Pitú Mean and How it is Made?
Pitú owes its name to a large type of prawn of exotic taste, living in the rivers in the north-east of Brasil. Today, this prawn is the unique trademark of Pitú.
