Long Terms & Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.
  2. The promotion is only open to registered customers of Bestway Wholesale Limited and Bestway Northern Limited (‘Bestway’).
  3. The Promoter is Bestway Wholesale Limited (company number 01392861) (‘the promoter’) and the registered address is 2 Abbey Road, London, NW10 7BW.
  4. The Third Party Prize Fulfilment Agency is Blue Chip Marketing (UK) Limited, Blackfriars House, Parsonage, Manchester, M3 2JA.
  5. Employees of Bestway Wholesale Ltd or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the prize draw or helping to set up the prize draw shall not be permitted to enter the prize draw, regardless of any qualifying spend.
  6. The promotion is not open to members of the general public.
  7. Entries are open to trading businesses or sole traders (‘customers’) who are registered customers of Bestway Wholesale Limited and Bestway Northern Limited (‘Bestway’).
  8. Entrants must be aged 18 or over who are GB residents.
  9. Max 1 prize per customer.
  10. The promotion is open from 00:00:00hrs on 13.05.2022 and closes at 23:59.59hrs on 27.06.2022 (the ‘promotional period’). Any entries outside this period will not be accepted.
  11. To enter prize draw, purchase is necessary. Purchase 1 x case of a Pringles product from any of the Qualifying Products (as defined in clause 14 below) for your store, during the promotional period as defined in clause 8 above, from a Bestway or Batleys Wholesale depot, online or in store. The customer will then be automatically entered into the prize draw if met the qualifying criteria above. Retain your invoice. Customers will receive one entry per case purchased.
  12. There are no restrictions to the amount of times one customer can enter the prize draw, subject to buying a new case of a Qualifying Product. If multiple qualifying products are purchased in one transaction, this will result in multiple entries into the promotion equating to one entry per purchase.
  13. 1 x case of any of the Qualifying Products bought = 1 entry into the prize draw.
  14. Purchase must be a case of Pringles products (165g, 70g and 40g or 180g Sizzl’n cans) to be valid for entry. The ‘Qualifying Products’ are listed below:

  15. There are 10 prizes to be won in total. The prizes will be tiered from Silver, Gold, Diamond and Platinum based on their value and are detailed as follows:
    • Platinum - 1 x Winner of a ‘Store Upgrade fit for a Queen’
    • Diamond - 2 x Winners of a ‘Royal Trip to London’
    • Gold - 3 x Winners of £500 Bestway Depot Credit
    • Silver - 4 x Winners of a £250 cash prize
  16. The 10 x prize winners will be drawn at random using randompicker.com from all the valid entries received and verified by the promoter in the order stated in Clause 15. An alternate winner will be drawn if the same winner is drawn more than once.
  17. All entries received during the promotional period of 00:00 13.05.2022 to 23.59 27.06.2022 will be collated and entered into a prize draw, which will take place between the 28.06.22 and the 04.07.22.
  18. Winners will be notified and contacted by 11.07.2022 via email and/or a phone call, using the details from their Bestway Wholesale or Batleys customer account. The prizes must be claimed within 14 days of first notification. To claim, winners must reply to the email/phone notification to acknowledge their prize and confirm permission for their full name and contact telephone number to be provided to the third party prize fulfilment agency. Once permission has been authorised by the winner, they will then be contacted by third party prize fulfilment agency within 7 days of their prize acknowledgement to arrange prize fulfilment. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the privacy policy at https://wearebluechip.co.uk/privacy-policy/. All reasonable effort will be made to contact winners using the email address and telephone number from their Bestway Wholesale or Batleys customer account, however, if the prize is not claimed within 14 working days of first notification or the winner is ineligible or rejects the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to draw an alternative winner (using the same mechanism as for the original winner) and the original winner will forfeit any rights to a prize. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prizes, for a period of 3 months after the closing date, after which prizes will be null and void. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they respond to the winner notification either by answering a call or replying to the email address when notified. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email and telephone connections during this time in case they are a winner.
  19. The prize may be redeemed by the named account holder only and is not transferable and cannot be swapped for another.
  20. In the event of circumstances outside its control the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize, or part of a prize, of equal or greater value.
  21. The prize for the ‘Store Upgrade fit for a Queen’ is for up to a maximum value of £5,000. For the avoidance of doubt, any remaining balance under £5,000 cannot be claimed as part of the prize and will be forfeit. The third party prize fulfilment agency will contact the winner via phone or email within 7 days after permission has been authorised to acknowledge their prize and confirm the logistics of prize fulfilment. Once arranged and permission has been granted for their contact details (full name and telephone number) to be passed on, the winner will be put in touch with the store fitter in order to fulfil and manage the store upgrade prize. The £5,000 prize fund can go towards installation of any updates or replacements within their convenience store. There is an option to include a full site survey visit to agree the updates based on what is feasible within the budget. The cost of travel and to conduct the site survey is dependent upon the distance between the allocated store fitter to the winner’s store location and will be paid for by Kellogg’s. The survey is optional and is not always necessary depending on the upgrade requirements, however this can be included to ensure that any agreed fittings will be able to be executed. The £5,000 can be used at the discretion of the convenience retail store manager. Any additional costs incurred exceeding the £5,000 prize fund, is at the sole responsibility of the winner. All elements requested are subject to availability from the supplier.
  22. 2 x ‘Royal Trip to London’ prize packages are available to be won, up to a maximum value of £2,000 each. The third party prize fulfilment agency will contact the winners via phone or email within 7 days after permission has been authorised to acknowledge their prize and confirm the logistics of prize fulfilment. Once arranged and permission has been granted for their contact details to be passed on, the winners will be put in touch with the travel advisor in order to fulfil and manage their ‘Royal Trip to London’. <\li>
  23. The prize breakdown for each of the ‘Royal Trip to London’ prizes are as follows;
    • Return first class train travel from selected UK mainland stations to London for two. Travel to the selected station is not included and is the sole responsibility of the winner and guest. <\li>
    • Return private station transfers for two in London. <\li>
    • 2 night’s luxury accommodation for two at a 5* hotel in London, based on sharing a double/twin room.<\li>
    • Daily breakfast<\li>
    • £200 spending money in total. <\li>
  24. Each winners’ trip is based on two people, for two nights in London. The Recipients (Winner and Guest) must travel at the same time with the same itinerary. At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over. Children under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel. First class train travel from selected stations within mainland UK to London only. Hotel accommodation is based on two people sharing one double or twin room in London. Hotel accommodation will be selected by the travel advisor at their sole discretion. Hotel accommodation for the Recipients does not include any meals (other than breakfast), incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Recipients. A credit card for incidentals will be requested by the hotel at check-in and therefore at least one of the Recipients must possess and travel with a valid credit card. The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, insurance (travel/medical), personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package. All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at the travel advisor’s discretion. Winners must contact the travel advisor with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure. All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time. Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled. Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday. Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time. £200 spending money will be provided to the winners only by bank transfer to the winners’ nominated account via a secure process. The winners’ bank details are to be provided to the travel advisor no longer than 7 days after the trip has been booked. Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel. The arrangement and additional costs for any COVID-19 testing or other expenses that may be incurred are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the travel advisor will be treated in accordance with the travel advisor’s privacy policy.
  25. The 3 x £500 Bestway store credit prizes will be fulfilled directly through Bestway to the customer, through their unique Customer account/ID held at Bestway or Batleys depots used on entry, to be redeemed against any products. 3 prizes of £500 credit each available to be won. No cash or prize alternative option provided.
  26. The 4 x £250 Cash prizes will be supplied via BACS transfer by the third party prize fulfilment agency via a secure process – UK bank account required for transfer. To receive their cash prize, the winners will be asked to provide their bank details for the BACs transfer of the £250 cash prize within 7 days from the date of request, the name on the bank account will be confirmed to ensure that it matches the name of the prize winner. The winners will be asked to input their bank details into a password protected form and share with the third party prize fulfilment agency over email.
  27. The ‘Store Upgrade fit for a Queen’ prize and the ‘Royal Trip to London’ prize are also available as a cash alternative, if preferred. The winners will be given the option to choose the cash alternative when they are contacted regarding prize fulfilment by the third party prize fulfilment agency. These prizes will be fulfilled via BAC’s transfer via the process mentioned in clause 26. None of the 3 x cash alternative prizes are able to split, for example for a winner to receive half the prize as cash, and the other half as a part store upgrade. All other prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any alternatives in whole or in part. The decisions of the panel are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  28. Entrants must have a UK bank account to receive their cash prize. The bank details will be stored in a secure location and will only be used for the purpose of the promotion. Bank details will be deleted 3 months from the date of the bank details being supplied.
  29. Once the winners have successfully confirmed all details for prize fulfilment and the completion of any verification process, their cash and store credit prizes will be fulfilled within 28 days of receipt of bank details (for the cash prizes) or confirmation of details for the Bestway Store credit. The Store Upgrade and the Royal Trip to London prizes will be fulfilled as necessary in accordance with the store fitter, travel advisor and winners discretion, however initial contact between the winners and the store fitter/travel advisor, will be made within 28 days of receiving permission to pass on the winners contact details. If a prize winner does not receive their BAC’s payment for the cash prizes, their Bestway Credit Prize or contact from the store fitter/travel advisor within the 28 days specified, please contact the third party prize fulfilment agency within the next 7 days after day 28.
  30. It is the responsibility of the winners to provide their correct, up-to-date details when confirming acceptance of their prize in order for the prize claim to be processed. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for a winner failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery/fulfilment of their prize.
  31. If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, any affected entrants will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotion or prize.
  32. The Promoter shall facilitate fulfilment of the prize and any date quoted for fulfilment shall be approximate only.
  33. The decision of the Promoter is final. No correspondence will be entered in to.
  34. Any tax implications as a result of winning a prize is the responsibility of the prize winners.
  35. Under no circumstances will the Promoter be liable (unless such liability cannot be lawfully excluded) for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with the promotion.
  36. The winner’s surname and county of residence (with the exception of silver prize winners) will be available 30 days after the closing date by emailing customerservices@bestway.co.uk. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting customerservices@bestway.co.uk. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
  37. Customers may be requested to enter into publicity as a result of the promotion.
  38. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of purchase, address and ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent). The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.
  39. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, traffic congestion, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries/claims [delete as appropriate]. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  40. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.
  41. By entering this promotion, the Customer agrees that the Data Controller, Data Processor and any agency acting on their behalf may process and share between themselves the personal data of the Customer (such as name, address, email address, telephone numbers, purchase history) solely for the purpose of running and administering this promotion including contacting you in relation to the draw and fulfilling the prize (if you are a winner). Subject to your consent, photographs may be taken of prize winner(s) for Bestway Customer trade press and/or Bestway internal communications and you may be contacted to request a quote about your win, for use in printed publications. Personal data will be processed in accordance with current Data Protection legislation and as set out in the promoter’s privacy policy at https://www.bestwaywholesale.co.uk/privacy-policy. Personal data will not be transferred outside the EU or the UK and will not be disclosed to a third party without the Customer’s prior consent. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to customerservices@bestway.co.uk. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here.
  42. You are providing your information to Bestway Wholesale Ltd and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the privacy policy at https://www.bestwaywholesale.co.uk/privacy-policy.
  43. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  44. Customers not wishing to participate in this promotion should notify the Bestway Customer Contact Centre on 01738 646666 or email: customerservices@bestway.co.uk otherwise by making the qualifying purchases all Customers will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. In the event of a conflict between these terms and any other promotion requirements set out in any promotional material these terms and conditions will prevail.
  45. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them) are governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless you live in Scotland, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
