Bestway Wholesale Strengthens Operations Board With New Directors
The board of directors of the Bestway Group has made significant additions to the operations board of the wholesale business.
The board changes involve the present senior management team comprising of David Gilroy, James Hall, Naser Khan, Kaiser Yousaf and Martin Race. Martin Race extends his present Batleys directorship to the other wholesale companies.
The promotions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Martin Race – Operations director Batleys
- David Gilroy – Operations director of Bestway
- Kaiser Yousaf – Trading director
- Naser Khan – Finance director
- James Hall – Symbol group director
The existing main board directors, Arshad Chaudhary and Rizwan Pervez also have new roles. Arshad Chaudhary moves from Bestway operations director to Logistics director responsible for the Coventry distribution centre and the central ordering division. Rizwan Pervez has been given the new role of marketing director. Dawood Pervez continues with all his present responsibilities.
Two further senior management changes are also announced with the promotion of senior negotiator Richard Booth to the new role of deputy trading controller for the wholesale group, and a new appointment of Jason Baker as marketing controller, he has joined the company from a similar position at IKEA.
