Only 21% of shoppers in Independent and Symbol stores know what they intend to buy before they visit a store, providing a real opportunity to influence what they purchase once they enter a store. More shoppers buy Single Serve savoury snacks when they are merchandised front of store.

Use secondary locations near Beer and Wine to encourage more Sharing sales. Sharing bags over index in trips containing Beer, whilst more than 1 in 10 Top Up trips with Crisps, Snacks & Nuts also feature Wine.
